Solar Charge Controller

MPPT:  Ultra-fast Maximum Power Point Tracking  

By constantly monitoring the voltage and current output of your solar (PV) panels, MPPT technology ensures that every drop of available power is rinsed out of your panels and harvested for storage.  The advantage of this is most noticeable when the sky is partially clouded and light intensity is constantly changing.

Remote Monitoring And Control

Remotely control and monitor the extensive features of your SmartSolar MPPT charger with built-in Bluetooth by pairing it with your smartphone or other devices via the VictronConnect app.  No dongle is required.

VE.Direct and Ve.CAN

For a wired data connection to a Color Control GX, other GX products, PC or other devices.  The VE.Can SmartSolar charger is equipped with CAN bus ports.  This allows for communication with additional VE.Can SmartSolar chargers.  The additional units are simply ?ǣdaisy-chained?ǥ to each other with a single RJ45 cable between the individual units.

When connected to each other, all individual VE.Can SmartSolar chargers, will synchronise their charge stages. They can also send their data, via a single cable, to a GX monitoring device. 

Fully discharged battery recovery function

Will initiate charging even if the battery has been discharged to zero volts. Will reconnect to a fully discharged Li-ion battery with an integrated disconnect function.  

Parallel Operation via Bluetooth or Ve.Can 

Up to 25 units can be synchronised with VE.Can, and up to 10 units with Bluetooth.  A Smart Battery Sense, a BMV-712 Smart Battery Monitor or a SmartShunt can be used to communicate battery voltage and temperature (and current, in case of a BMV 712 or a SmartShunt) to one or more SmartSolar Charge Controllers. 

Optional SmartSolar Control Display 

By adding the SmartSolar Control Display you will be able to check the status of your charger and battery storage at a glance. Simply plug it into the face of your MPPT charge to provide you with real-time monitoring and setup capabilities.
